Also known as PMA, 4-METHOXYAMPHETAMINE
4-MA produced excitation, blood-pressure-raising adrenergic effects, and other central actions but no amphetamine-style psychosis even at 75 milligrams, disproving a theory that it caused stimulant-induced madness. Tragically, it was later sold deceptively as MDA under street names like Chicken Power and caused several overdose deaths at doses in the hundreds of milligrams.
