Also known as INDOLE, 5,6-DIMETHOXY-3-[2-(ISOPROPYLMETHYLAMINO)ETHYL], 5,6-DIMETHOXY-N-ISOPROPYL-N-METHYLTRYPTAMINE, 5,6-DIMETHOXY-3-[2-(ISOPROPYLMETHYLAMINO)ETHYL]INDOLE
This compound showed no detectable activity even at high per-kilogram doses, effectively condemning its ring-substitution pattern. Many close relatives were synthesized decades ago but there is no record of any being tried in humans, and a related methyl-substituted variant was likewise inactive when smoked at a dose that would normally be dramatic.
