Also known as NOR-5-MEO-DMT, TRYPTAMINE, 5-METHOXY-N-METHYL, INDOLE, 5-METHOXY-3-[2-(METHYLAMINO)ETHYL], SEROTONIN, N,O-DIMETHYL, 5-METHOXY-N-METHYLTRYPTAMINE
Structurally this is 5-MeO-DMT stripped of one N-methyl group, and human testing has barely begun; its susceptibility to metabolic breakdown suggests it will likely only work by injection or alongside an MAO inhibitor. It occurs in several Virola species and in toad skin, but always alongside 5-MeO-DMT, so its own contribution to psychoactivity is unknown.
