Also known as INDOLE, 3-[2-(DIMETHYLAMINO)ETHYL]-5-METHYLTHIO, N,N-DIMETHYL-5-METHYLTHIOTRYPTAMINE
As a sulfur-for-oxygen analogue of 5-MeO-DMT, this compound unexpectedly appears about half as potent rather than stronger, contrary to the potency boost such substitution gives in the phenethylamine series. Related sulfur analogues showed a systematic decline in potency in animal behavioral tests, but their human effects remain to be determined.
