A simple two-substituent phenethylamine (homopiperonylamine) that is inactive, likely broken down by the body's enzymes before it can act. Its N-methyl form has been used clinically as a cough suppressant around 30 milligrams; the author tried that dose and noticed only slight facial tightness with no mental effects.
