Also known as INDOLE, 3-[2-(1-PYRROLIDYL)ETHYL], PYRROLIDINE, 1-[2-(3-INDOLYL)ETHYL], N,N-TETRAMETHYLENETRYPTAMINE, 1-[2-(1H-INDOL-3-YL)ETHYL]PYRROLIDINE, 1-[2-(1-PYRROLIDYL)ETHYL]INDOLE

One of a trio of heterocyclic tryptamine analogues (pyrrolidine, piperidine, morpholine) that chemists favor but that tend to represent the inactive extremes of a series. The only human trial mentioned, of the morpholine version, produced no effects at all at 30 mg injected, and the author suspects these compounds simply have the wrong properties for psychedelic action.
