TripSit summary
A psychedelic similar to the more well-known 2C-B. Users frequently report very vivid and bright open-eye visuals and more mild closed-eye visuals compared to 2C-B and other drugs in the 2C family. Can also be more stimulating than 2C-B along with having a slight body load for some users. Less safe at high doses compared to 2C-B
PiHKAL summary
Often compared to its bromine analogue because of their near-identical structures, its heavy iodine atom is central to the activity and makes it well suited to radiolabelling studies. A related ethoxy variant showed a threshold near 5 mg, with larger doses stretching the duration rather than intensifying the experience; the passage also notes a bystander's "contact high" at a group session.
