Fatal overdose may occur when alcohol is combined with other depressants such as opiates, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, gabapentinoids, thienodiazepines or other GABAergic substances.[1] It is strongly discouraged to combine these substances, particularly in common to heavy doses.
