Also known as 2,5-DIMETHOXY-4-IODOAMPHETAMINE

The iodine analogue, an extremely potent and long-lasting psychedelic whose R-isomer is the more active. It is notable for binding very strongly to the 5-HT2 serotonin receptors and has become a widely used research tool, including in radioiodinated form for mapping brain distribution.
